A fresh start

So I am going through and deleting all of the boring, unnecessary posts on this blog and am going to do my best to at least keep up weekly. I've been rolling out posts from my phone that just don't ever to seem to quite work once I read it later, but that happens.

Coming up next week is the Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention. I'm excited about this because not only will it be my first Con (I'm always having to work), BUT I will also have a booth selling my #behindthestrip prints from the project I have been working on for over a year and a half. I started it in March of 2014 with around 10 action figures. Now my collection exceeds 250, I have no shelf space left in my house, and I have a nice bit of credit card debt. Stupid ebay.

Also, I am (theoretically) going to be on a panel or two. I agreed to a BBC panel, but the girl I spoke with said she hasn't sorted everything out yet. That includes booth numbers. The procrastinator in me has waited until the past few days to finally send in my orders for product, packaging, and up-to-date business cards which contain thisblogisatardis.com and my instagram account (carynloveless).

This is incredibly exciting for me and also very nerve racking. I ordered over $700 in product. This con is either going to make me or break me. I'm hoping to sell out within the first two days and also plan on creating order/suggestion forms today when I am in between clients. If nothing else, I guess I'll have plenty of stock for that etsy store I have never actually put anything in.

Tell me who your favorite superhero is in the comments section below and if I have a figure or him/her, I'll post something on here using it! I love suggestions!

If you have never seen anything from my #behindthestrip photo project, check a few of these out.

Let me know what you think!

  1. Loveless,

You're going to do great and it seems as if your passion is carrying you into a new chapter of your life. Very exciting and nerve racking I'm sure but that's the fun part! Keep up the great work!
